ATTENTION all SUBR wireless users:  We are currently aware of the connection issues with the wireless network.  We are working on resolving the issue as quickly as possible.  Thank you for patience!

The Wireless Network is for current Southern University students, faculty, and staff.  To use this technology, you need an internal or external wireless card to connect and configure your computer to access the network.  The card must be compatible with the 802.11a/b/g standard. In addition, you must also have a username and password to access the network. Once you set up your computer for wireless access, you will be able to connect to the wireless network on campus.

The goal of the project is to enhance the functionality of the campus network by extending the network, making our academic and online resources available to our students, faculty, and staff without wires. The wireless network allows students to access the internet, e-mail and Blackboard throughout the campus.

This site is designed to help wireless users get connected and find up-to-date information about the wireless network.

If you are having difficulty connecting to the wireless network review the instructions and if you need further help call the Help Desk at 771-3935 ext 228.
